CAKE PARTY WITH THE HARVEST - #HARVESTINVETERAN

Last week we got a chance to be the first visitor of The Harvest Patissier & Chocolatie Newest Boutique in Veteran along with other bloggers and media. For you who rarely know South Jakarta - Bintaro area, you can easily find their outlet by searching 'harvest veteran' in google maps and you're good to go.

For our family The Harvest cake is our go-to and simply a yes for every single birthday cake, so yes all hail to their chocolate devil. DAYUM! Beside chocolate my mom can occasionally go to The Harvest for their blueberry cheesecake.

Bet most of you know that two cakes we mention earlier, but let's be honest if you were asked to choose your new favorite within 5 minutes you just can't right? :p As new variants comes in the old one must go, so they discontinue some variant, but due to the high demand and customer keep asking for selected variants of cake, they've revived some of the all time favorite cakes: Oreo Cheesecake, Strawberry Curd, Choco Cheesecake, Sweet Violet. Before we talk more about the cakes, let us show you around their outlet.. Any dessert you name it, from macaroons, croissant and other pastry, cakes, chocolate, cookies. cupcake, ice cream, and they also sell dolls. perhaps chocolate goes really well with dool (thanks to valentines day and movies)

During our visit we're surprise that they makes coffee, pastry and ice cream now. Maybe it's been there but because most of the time we just go directly to cake sections choose our certain favorites cakes, request a writings and go straight to cashier, pay and go home.

Moving on to the cakes, our favorite part. To be honest we didn't know these variant exist. UPS
• Oreo Cheesecake
The cheesecake itself was creamy, but they keeping them light and soft. It went well with oreo wafer crunch, don't worry it's not that sweet.

• Strawberry Curd
Differ from the other three this cake were rather sour than sweet. but as we eat it along with chocolate decoration they neutralized each other. Classic favorites, chocolate and strawberry.

• Choco Cheesecake
The cheesecake itself was creamier than the oreo cheesecake one, and they also add some chocolate in it maybe that's why this one was way too sweet for her palate.

• Sweet Violet
We never say no to purple, basically everything purple. At first we guess it was sweet potato or popularly known as taro, and we're right. This sponge based cake was light and not to sweet.

It was our first time dine at The Harvest tho. In this outlet they have up to 16 pax capacity dining area at the back. It's hidden and it's perfect for your evening tea time, or your friends surprise bridal shower ;)
