Pay a visit to Menteng hidden gems and tried their NEWEST cake creation! Who doesn’t love cakes with some coffee or tea? You can have it two ways, if you prefer air conditioned you can stay inside, cozy interiors or you’re too bored with indoor, you can sit outside and enjoy some greenery scene.



Exquise Patisserie Started on 2014, so it’s been 2 years. This patisserie café is located in Rumah Cokro. They serve coffee by Brew Phobia Coffee. FUN FACTS: Exquise Patisserie launch new cake creation each month & most of their cake has unique name and mostly a girl name!


A little short story behind why we didn’t took any interior photos. We visited them yesterday, around 5pm and the sky was gloomy in J town. It’s dark and if we insist of taking photos, pretty sure that the picture will turn out to be a low quality photos. Augustine


As you notice it’s consist august, so you’re so damn right! It’s august cake of the month! Pretty white and dark pink to celebrate Indonesia Independence day! Augustine is Lychee based cake, it’s a combination between lychee mousse, raspberry ganache and lychee jelly.


Sophie


Devil chocolate brownies covered with chocolate walnut and topped with hazelnut cream. Sophie may look sweet but really it’s not that sweet because you can taste a bit of dark chocolate there. In a sentence it’s crusty outside and moist inside.


BattenBerg

Checquered yellow and pink sponge with strawbery jam and chesse covered with buttered cream.


Jean


“I may not look as pretty as Augustine, but you will definitely love me. I mean who doesn’t love mango?” – Jean.
Jean is less calories mango cheese cake because they use Tropicana Slim Sugar. The base, almond crumble was not that hard like most of the cheesecake out there.

AFTERNOON SOIRÉE BAKERZIN X VALRHONA

We were invited to the Afternoon Soiree a launching of enchanting sweet and pleasures [read more to find out ;)] event last Friday, along with other bloggers and media. We’ll give you some highlight from the event, but before we went further let give you a bit background of Valrhona and Bakerzin.
